Curly Tail Lizard

I have been looking at these lizards every day for a while, where I work. I finally had a camera at hand and could capture one of them, graciously posing for us. It doesn't seem to be a brown anole, it has a curly tail and no barb.

What is it?

Re: Curly Tail Lizard

Tristan age 9 thinks this is a Bahamas Curly Tail Lizard.  They are native to the Bahamas not Florida.

Re: Curly Tail Lizard

Def. a Bahamas Curly Tail, not native, taking over everywhere, I think their population has tripled in our yard in the last year!

Very interesting, it says they were brought in intentionally to control sugar cane pests in the 40's.
